The match was originally scheduled as a singles match between Iida and Hoshino, but Natsumi Natsu and Tora Natsuko were forced to withdraw due to contracting influenza, so it was hastily changed to a tag team match. The two who were scheduled to face each other teamed up to take on the champion tag team of AZM and Utami
Iida provoked Utami Hayashishita, calling out, "Come on out, Utami!", and as soon as the bell rang, Iida landed a dropkick to get the first point. She then tied Utami to the ropes and, together with Hoshino, delivered a series of dropkicks, declaring, "I'm gonna lift you up!", and announced a body slam, but Utami countered with a body slam of her own. Utami went to tag in AZM, but Hoshino interfered, and Iida and Hoshino delivered a double dropkick to Utami before slamming her with a body slam. They went for the pin, but AZM broke it up
Iida threw Utami into the corner and delivered a series of machine gun chops. She then threw another powerful blow, but Utami dodged it and jumped onto the ropes for a dropkick. Iida was sent flying and tagged in Hoshino, who was where she landed
Hoshino hit Utami with three consecutive dropkicks and then caught her in a sleeper hold on the ground, but Utami reversed it and caught Hoshino in a sleeper hold of her own. Hoshino escaped and jumped in, attempting a hurricanrana. Utami endured it and tried to counter with a powerbomb, but Hoshino rolled her up and countered again. When Utami kicked out, Hoshino ran in for a dropkick, but Utami caught her and slammed her with a body slam before tagging in AZM
AZM taunted Hoshino, saying, "Come on! What's wrong!", and allowed her to land an elbow strike. AZM retaliated with a powerful blow, sending Hoshino flying backward. As AZM tried to follow up, Hoshino jumped on her and caught her in a sleeper hold, but Utami broke it up and threw her over her shoulder. AZM then landed a PK, but Iida made a desperate save. Iida and Hoshino then hit AZM with a double dropkick, followed by a series of train-style dropkicks. Hoshino then landed a dropkick followed by a series of elbows. She then threw Hoshino into the corner and charged, but AZM dodged, causing her to crash into the corner, and then jumped onto the corner for a missile kick. Iida broke this up, took Utami out of the ring, and left the match to Hoshino
AZM declared "It's over!" and climbed onto the corner to deliver a diving foot stomp, but Hoshino dodged it and jumped on him for a hurricanrana. AZM kicked out and immediately got up to deliver a buzzsaw kick, then jumped onto the corner again for another diving foot stomp. This time he secured the three count

This match pits the two-time champion and orthodox-style Riho against the unconventional Andras, and even after the bell rings, they stare each other down slowly, starting with a four-handed lock-up and then moving to the ground to grapple for the back, neck, and legs in a quiet start
After separating for a moment, they locked up and pushed each other, and Andras knocked Riho down with a shoulder tackle and ran, but Riho countered with a hurricanrana and threw her out of the ring. Riho followed Andras out of the ring, but Andras was waiting for her and inflicted great damage on Riho with a body slam to the outside, then brought her back into the ring and tortured her with stomps, a face stomp, a sleeper hold, and a camel clutch
When Riho broke free, Andras egged on the crowd, lifted Riho up, and even managed a squat before delivering a suspended body slam. Andras then landed front kicks to Riho's face and back, and stomped on Riho's old back injury. He then threw her into the corner and delivered a running elbow, followed by a shoulder carry and a sunflower bomb. He then threw Riho out of the ring and tried to hit her with a chair, but Riho narrowly dodged it and returned to the ring, hitting Andras with a 619 the moment she climbed onto the apron. He then dropped a diving foot stomp, which Riho dodged, and immediately followed with a dropkick and a hurricanrana-style crossface. When that was broken, he delivered a diving foot stomp from the second rope at a sharp angle, followed by another diving foot stomp from the top rope. He then tried to lift her up, but Andras grabbed her arm and locked in a crucifix hold. Andras kicked out of the hold and tried to use the referee as a shield to defend against Riho's follow-up attack, but Riho cleverly dodged it, grappled with Andras, and pinned her in a clutch hold for the three count

The match began cleanly with a handshake, quickly turning into a struggle for back control and a barrage of rope work. After an exchange of arm drags, Kid landed a dropkick to gain the upper hand. Kid tried to follow up, but Layla knocked him down with a shoulder tackle and applied a body-scissors sleeper hold on the ground. Kid escaped and delivered a crossbody followed by a 619, then shouted "Take this!" and hit a standing moonsault press. He then shouted "I'm gonna lift you up!" and attempted a body slam, but Layla landed on his feet and delivered a series of slaps, a joint kick to the knee, and a dropkick that sent him flying into the corner. He followed up with a running double knee and a running dropkick. He then tried to force Kid to tap out with an armbar, but his position was bad and Kid quickly broke it
Layla runs in to pursue Kid, but Kid counters with a Lightning Spiral and a diving crossbody from the top rope. Instead of going for the pin, she immediately slams Kid with a Fisherman's Suplex Hold and goes for a Kicchan Bomb, but Layla shakes it off and hits an Olympic Slam followed by a running knee. She goes for a German Suplex on the heavily damaged Kid, but Kid counters with a Samson Clutch and runs to the ropes, but Layla counters with a lariat and knocks him down. She goes for the pin again, but when Kid kicks out she grabs his raised arm and goes for an armbar, which she locks in tightly, forcing Kid to tap out

Just as the gong was about to sound, Jamie made a gesture of re-tying the strings of Kashima's costume, saying, "Wait a minute! It's dangerous!", distracting QQ, and then Oedo Tai launched a surprise attack. They targeted Onozaki, and the three of them took turns tagging him, slamming his face into the corner
As Momo and Bee protested vehemently, Jamie provoked them by patting Onozaki's head and saying, "Sorry! Sorry!", and Sky kicked a soccer ball at Onozaki. Kashima tagged in
Kashima, along with Jamie and Sky, stomped on Onozaki's face and then tagged Sky
Onozaki retaliated against Sky with a series of elbows followed by a sliding back elbow, then tagged in Bea
Bea hits Sky with a spear elbow followed by a front suplex, then jumps to dodge Sky's charge and delivers a spinning back kick. She charges at Sky again, but Sky counters with a Codebreaker and tags in Jamie
Jamie attempts a lariat, but Bea dodges it and delivers a PK. Jamie dodges that too and goes for a brainbuster, but Bea shakes him off and lands a jumping knee. Bea continues to run, but Jamie counters with a lariat, sending both of them down. Both tag out
When Kashima and Momo faced off, Momo unleashed a high kick, which Kashima dodged by ducking, and she followed up with a series of PKs. She then pulled Kashima up and delivered a series of middle kicks followed by a missile kick, and then attempted a corner dropkick, but Kashima dodged it, and the Oedo Tai members launched a train attack. Kashima then landed a diving foot stomp, but the count was only two. Kashima then went for the My Emblem, but Momo shook it off, grabbed her hair, and pulled her down. As Kashima forcibly pulled her up, Momo grappled with her and attempted a B-Driver, but Kashima shook it off and ran to the ropes for a Soumatou. Momo weakened Kashima with a Cobra Clutch before delivering a high kick, and then attempted a Tequila Sunrise, but Kashima landed on her feet and shouted, "It's over!" in a desperate attempt to turn the tables. Kashima kicked out of that, and Momo delivered a spinning double-arm facebuster. However, Momo immediately got up and delivered a buzzsaw kick before tagging in Onozaki
Onozaki hit Kashima with a series of elbows, followed by a running elbow, and then a face crusher before running to the ropes, but Kashima countered with a big boot. As Onozaki continued to charge, Kashima dodged by going to the apron and kicked him. Kashima then ran to the ropes again, but Momo and Bea came in and assisted Kashima, with Bea hitting Kashima with a jumping knee and Momo with a brainbuster. Onozaki hit a series of elbows and ran to the ropes again, but Jamie took the opportunity to hand Kashima the Oedo Tai board, and while Sky distracted the referee, Kashima hit Onozaki on the head with the board. Kashima then slammed the staggering Onozaki with my emblem to get the three count

This singles match pits Kagetsu, who announced her departure from Stardom on the 26th of this month and her retirement on February 24th, against Giulia, who joined Stardom in December, creating a "departing vs. arriving" scenario
As the gong sounded, the two glared at each other and circled the ring, then locked up and engaged in a test of strength with a slow, gradual pushing and shoving exchange. Kagetsu emerged victorious and cleanly separated, creating some distance between them
They faced each other again and locked hands, engaging in a slow and pure power struggle as they pushed and shoved each other, their shoulders bumping into one another. Kagetsu managed to push Giulia down, and the fight continued on the ground as they grappled for back control. Giulia won the exchange and caught Kagetsu in a full nelson, but Kagetsu broke free with both hands and went for mount. Giulia tried to counter with a triangle choke, but Kagetsu anticipated this and went for her arm, wrapping her legs around it in an armlock. When Giulia broke the hold, Kagetsu delivered a powerful middle kick to her arm, then slammed her into the corner and stomped on her face
Kagetsu shouted, "OK! Here I go!" and delivered a spear elbow followed by a flying kick, then appealed to the crowd, "Let's go, Osaka!" She then took a mouthful of water and sprayed it in Giulia's face, and also sprayed it in the face of referee Murayama, who was furious, saying, "Seriously, every single time!" Kagetsu provoked Giulia, saying, "What's wrong? Is that all you've got? Come on, come on?" Giulia responded with an elbow, and the two stood their ground and engaged in an elbow exchange. Giulia won the exchange and delivered a big boot, then jumped to the ropes to follow up, but Kagetsu countered with a spinning heel kick and climbed onto the corner. Giulia charged in, saying, "Don't mess with me!" and pushed Kagetsu into the corner, then used the ropes to deliver a swinging neckbreaker, sending her to the outside, and then dragged Kagetsu into the audience seats and delivered a body slam onto the hard floor outside the ring
Giulia brings Kagetsu back into the ring and lays her on the second rope for a double knee drop. Then she pulls Kagetsu's head out of the ring from the apron and runs outside to deliver a big boot to her face. She then brings Kagetsu back into the ring and hits her with a missile kick to the back of the head as she shakily gets up. She follows up with another missile kick from the front and goes for a crossface. Kagetsu manages to break the hold by reaching the ropes, and Giulia slams her with a Falcon Arrow and goes for a Glorious Buster
Kagetsu landed on her feet and went for the Death Valley Bomb, but Giulia landed on her feet and delivered a series of Big Boots. Kagetsu countered with a spinning heel kick followed by a high kick. "Don't mess with me, you little brat!" she shouted, slamming Giulia with a Hurricane Driver and going for the Oedo Coaster
Giulia countered with a superplex, but Kagetsu let out a roar and immediately got back up to execute Tam's move (a sliding knee). She tried to follow up, but Giulia countered with a big boot and a Glorious Buster. She went for the pin, and when Kagetsu kicked out, Giulia grabbed her raised arm and went for an armlock, but Kagetsu broke the hold. Giulia went for another Glorious Buster, but Kagetsu shook her off and slammed her with a Death Valley Bomb, then climbed to the corner and went for an Oedo Coaster. Giulia pursued her and landed a series of elbows, then hoisted Kagetsu onto her shoulders and delivered two consecutive Glorious Drivers. Kagetsu kicked out and Giulia went for a Stealth Viper, but before she could lock it in, Kagetsu rolled away and delivered Tam's move. She followed up with an Ebisu Drop and an Oedo Coaster, and then hoisted Giulia onto her shoulders to go for a Death Valley Bomb when the bell rang, signaling a full-time draw
Ignoring referee Murayama's attempts to intervene, Kagetsu slammed her opponent with a Death Valley Bomb, leaving both of them sprawled out on the ground
Kagetsu: "Hey you guys in Osaka! How are you?! One more time! How are you?! I'm not doing so well! Giulia, you're even more amazing than I thought. Hey, when you first joined Stardom, I thought, 'Wow, who's something else?' And then, to top it all off, I thought, 'What an incredible way to get in.' But, as I wrote in my blog before we faced each other, I think it's necessary to look back on the past and reflect on past mistakes. But there's absolutely no need to be trapped by the past. It's been about two months since you appeared in the Stardom ring. I know you worked harder than anyone else when you were away from the ring. You know that better than anyone. If you continue to work hard from now on, you can definitely reach the top of Stardom! I'm sure you guys here today are expecting that too! Well, I've said some nice things, but I'm really glad that I got to face Giulia one last time on my final road to retirement. Thank you so much."
(Kagetsu offers to shake hands, but Julia refuses and takes the microphone.)

The STARS vs TCS 8-man tag team match featured the top players from both sides
When Kamiya raised her hand and said, "I'll go!", the STARS members sent her off with "See you later!", and Kamiya shouted, "Come out, Kimura Hana! Come out, Kimura Hana! Come out, Kimura Hana!!", and when Hana reluctantly came out the gong sounded. As soon as the gong sounded, Kamiya let out a roar and unleashed a barrage of elbows. However, Hana calmly patted her chest and sent Kamiya flying with a big boot
Then the TCS members rushed into the ring, tied Kamiya to the ropes, and saluted while stomping on his face, shouting, "Everyone in Osaka! Yes sir!" Hana and DEATH Yama then attempted a double dropkick, but due to the difference in leg length, DEATH Yama's dropkick missed, prompting the STARS members to collectively retort, "What's the point of a double (attack) then?"
Replacing Kyoko, Hana and her partner inflicted pain on Kamiya with gut shots, then dropped elbows to her knees, slammed her into the corner, and Konami applied a hanging armbar
Konami, who received the tag, further injured the arm with a shoulder arm breaker before tagging in DEATH Yama
DEATH Yama shouts "Death! Death! Death!" and delivers a chop, then strikes a pose saying "Death! Death! DEATH Yama Death!" before attempting to attack, but his charge is too long, so Kamitani counterattacks with a dropkick and tags in Iwatani
Iwatani dodged DEATH Yama's charge and hit him with a schoolboy pin, then delivered a dropkick as he got up, scattering Hana and the others along with Hoshiki and Tam. Hoshiki then grabbed Iwatani in a Reineira hold and swung him around, using Iwatani as a weapon to take down the TCS members. Tam, astonished by this, grabbed Hoshiki's costume and dragged him back to the corner, and in that moment, the recovered DEATH Yama shouted "Death Death DEATH Yama Deasu!" in rapid succession and delivered a body blow before tagging in Hana
Hana pushed Iwatani against the ropes and delivered a series of penetrating big boots. As Iwatani ran towards the ropes, Konami kicked her from the apron, and Hana attempted a suspended brainbuster followed by a Hydrangea, but STARS all came out to break it up. Hana threw a big boot, but Iwatani dodged it and countered with a sling blade before tagging in Hoshiki
Hoshiki hit Hana with a double knee strike followed by a double knee drop. They then engaged in an elbow exchange, with both wrestling fiercely. Hana gained the upper hand with her power and pushed Hoshiki back, but Hoshiki landed a jumping knee strike. At this point, DEATH Yama entered the ring, grabbed Hoshiki's hair and knocked her down, and Hana delivered a big boot before tagging in Konami
Hoshiki and Konami exchanged middle kicks, with Hoshiki landing a series of middle kicks followed by a high kick. He then tagged in Tamu
Tamu landed a spin kick, and Konami responded with a middle kick. Konami then grabbed Tamu's leg and applied an ankle lock. When Tamu tried to escape, Konami took her back and slammed her with a German suplex, followed by a Northern Lights suplex. Kamiya desperately intervened to break up the hold, which led to a fierce brawl as everyone entered the ring and tried to eliminate each other
When Kyoka faced off against Kamiya, Kyoka pressed her advantage with strikes, but Kamiya countered with a dropkick. She then ran to the ropes, but Hana came in and teamed up with Kyoka to deliver a face crusher, followed by a sliding lariat. Iwatani and Tam came to her rescue, but Hana and Konami sent her flying to the outside with dropkicks, and Kyoka shouted "I'm gonna fly!" and did a plancha. However, Tam and Iwatani also returned to the ring and performed a plancha from the corner, before lifting Kyoka back into the ring, where Iwatani, Hoshiki, and Tam surrounded her. Tam and Hoshiki delivered high kicks, Iwatani a thrust kick, and the three of them delivered a triple thrust kick, followed by Kamiya's diving crossbody. Kamiya then did a cartwheel knee drop followed by a running shooting star press, but Kyoka rolled her up from below. When Kamiya kicked out, the four members of STARS delivered a simultaneous dropkick to Kyoka, but Kyoka dodged it, and TCS surrounded the four of them and delivered a simultaneous dropkick of their own. Kyoka then knocked Kamiya down with a lariat and, with perfect timing, slammed her down with a hammer throw powerbomb to get the three count
The ring remained chaotic even after the match. A brawl broke out with everyone involved, but the seconds had to work together to separate them and bring it to an end
As STARS leaves, Kyoko takes the microphone
Kyoko: "Osaka's first match of the new year! TCS won! On January 19th at Korakuen Hall, we will have a title defense match for the Goddess belt. And what about Hana?"
Hana: "Julia's been saying something about 'forming a unit'."
Screaming Woman: "Hey? I'd like to see the whole unit crushed so that TCS can keep winning and advancing! But today's STARS, you know? Didn't they seem like flat beer? Hey everyone! We don't want flat beer to start the new year! Hey Konami? You've got it ready, right? That ice-cold stuff♪"
Konami: "Well, well, well, that's definitely... fresh is the best, isn't it? I understand. I've prepared some fresh. Here you go!"
(Konami makes a gesture of offering an imaginary beer to Kyoko. Kyoko accepts the imaginary beer and opens it with her imagination.)
Screaming woman: "Pshhh! ...Whoa! You were shaking it, weren't you?! This won't do! It won't do! It won't do! This beer won't do! We can't toast like this!"
(Seeing this, Hana is disgusted and tries to leave.)
Screaming woman: "What are you trying to do, trying to go home?! Hey!"
Hana: "Well, I think I can wrap it up better! So I'll wrap it up! Stand up! ...It should be 'Yes sir' there! (Audience replies "Yes sir") Great! Now, for 'Everyone's different, and that's okay! That's TOKYO CYBER SQUAD!', everyone say 'Yes sir'. You haven't forgotten, right? 2020 will be the year of TCS, so make sure you can do this perfectly. Got it?! (Audience replies "Yes sir") OK! Hana: "Well, I think we won without any trouble this time as well, and I'm still holding a grudge because Oedo Tai won the Unit Award at last year's Stardom Awards, so I want to make 2020 the year of TCS. On January 19th at the Korakuen Hall event, Giulia said something like, 'Bring your friends and we'll form a unit, so let's have a rivalry match,' but you can't just form a unit that easily, and I seriously think she shouldn't underestimate units, and I have a lot of things I'm thinking about Giulia right now, so I don't know when I'll explode."
